Coming Soon! Kobe 7 Elite Review!

Nike Zoom Kobe VII Elite.

Nike Zoom Kobe IV Review

Codename: Spiderman Kobe 4's

These were the first shoes I've ever played in from Kobe since Nike started sponsoring him. I wasn't a big fan of the Kobe 1,2, and 3 (and Hyperdunk PE) due to their high cut nature. But since the introduction of fly wire, when the 4's debuted, they were the lightest basketball shoe on the market. Flex isn't that great but weight, agility, grip, and tread were all very strong features of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV's. Once the shoe had been broken in and I no longer cared if I creased the toes, I played harder in them. I have played in these shoes at the park countless of times and it still shows a little tread left. These were my go to pair since I was confident in its performance. I had bought my first pair of Kobe V's by the time I decided to play on my spidermans. Of course I wouldn't play in a shoe without having a spare. I have the Lakers Home colorway as my backup walking and casual shoe which was also the first colorway I picked up. Overall, great all around shoe. Definitely a shoe for the 1 and 2 positions. I would rate it a 9/10.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Review

A few weeks back I decided to retire my Kobe IV's and give the VI's a shot on the basketball court at the park. I have to say they performed really well. It is light as usual, with good grip, and flexible. Flexibility and weight would probably be my two favorite features of this shoe. It bends freely and is extremely light. Because of the scale design, the toe creases are hardly visible. The only downside is that I feel these have worn out faster than my 4's. The treadwear isn't all that great. After 3 Sundays at the park at maybe 3-5 games each, these have shown as much wear than my 4's. However, they are more comfortable and very fashionable on/off the court. Here are some up close pics of my Nike Zoom Kobe VI playoff colorway. I highly recommend these shoes whether they are just for walking, basketball at the park, or a more competitive league type of play. I wonder if the these would've lasted longer if they were strictly indoor shoes. Overall, I rate this shoe 9/10 for great flexibility, weight, grip, and breathability.

Air Jordan XI 2012 Retro

Just laced up my kicks tonight and they are very comfortable. I have to say these kicks run true to size. Very comfy however I've never been a fan of round laces. I always have to double tie them because they tend to loosen up while walking.

This was the last shoe I bought in 2011. I was bummed I didn't get them before Christmas. But I was more than happy that I got them before the new year!

Project 365 - 2012

I have decided that I will try and post at least one picture a day to complete my Project 365 for the year 2012. I start today January 3rd officialy and here are my pictures. I'm going to try and keep the captions to a minimum because this is really about the photos. So it begins!

Snowboard Season has begun!

Glad I was able to ride two more times before the new year. Now for this year, I can't wait for more trips up to mountain!

Feb 2 Vid Log - Groceries and Rain

Today, everybody posted on Facebook about snow in Lancaster. I see the snow everytime I got up to the mountains but it was nice when it snowed once in a while when I was living back in Lancaster. On a brighter note, we got groceries for Crystal's hamburger and green beans, and for my sinigang. We went for a relaxing drive in the sno- I mean rain, and got to listen to some music. Can't beat that!

Jan 1 Video Log. Happy New Year!

I guess this can be my first video log of 2011. It was video taped somewhat candid but it's okay. I wasn't too happy about it at first but hey, my dougie is a work in progress. My dancing moments come in spurts so this is one sample you get to see. That is not a bluetooth headset in my ear, that is actually my Xbox 360 wireless headset because I was playing with some friends when this song came on.

06 Subaru 2.5i Borla Rep and Test Pipe

New upgrades to my ride. Hehehe. This was coming home from the track. Of course, it's no longer this loud anymore. I did this so I could hear my car rev through my helmet while racing on the track.
